Memories

I always find it interesting how the mind remembers sounds, tastes, and smells so vividly and attaches them to specific memories. I was eating lunch today and then suddenly I was sitting next to the pool at the Bird in my swimsuit and towel, eating a sandwich and "chips." Thirty seconds later I was back in my cozy kitchen in Bromley contemplating the memory. It was like I was really back there, then back here. Weird, but cool.
