Thanks, but... no thanks

So my adviser told me tonight that "what she would really like to see for me" is that I go to grad school, get my doctorate, and replace her here at Gordon. While I was very honored by her faith in me and that she thinks I "have a lot of potential," that it totally not what I want to do with my life. Thanks for your opinion, but... no thanks. Not at all what I'm looking for!! I have been waiting my whole college career to be able to teach kids, not college students! But thanks for your thoughts anyway. I'll file it away in the back of my brain...
